Gyrus Capital to acquire Consulcesi Group with Founder, Management

Gyrus Capital is to acquire Consulcesi Group to build out a pan-European digital platform for the Healthcare industry.

Gyrus Capital, along with the founders and management, has agreed to acquire the Consulcesi Group, a leading provider of Continuous Medical Education (CME), digital marketing, data analytics and legal services to the Healthcare industry. Following Corcym (carve-out from Livanova); Intellera Consulting (carve-out from PWC Italia) and Katalist (software integration platform), Consulcesi represents Gyrus’ fourth new investment in the last 12 months.

Consulcesi, through its innovative Digital Platform, partners with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to provide them with access to over 250 CME courses, ultimately granting them the relevant credits to continue legally practicing in the Medical field. Additionally, Consulcesi provides HCPs with mal-practice insurance solutions and additional legal support to its clients. In parallel, Consulcesi offers Healthcare companies solutions into data analytics through a proprietary database consisting of over 2 million Healthcare Professional contacts, multi-channel marketing services and e-learning solutions.

Headquartered in Balerna (Switzerland), with offices in Brussels, London, Rome and Tirana, the Consulcesi Group employs around 650 FTEs. Consulcesi addresses the increasing needs for Digitalisation within the Healthcare industry and offers a unique, integrated solution bridging the gap between Healthcare companies and HCPs. Leveraging its industry know-how, Consulcesi will pursue growth through the acquisition and integration of specialist CME content developers with the ambition of becoming the leading pan-European provider of CME content.

Massimo Tortorella, founder of the Consulcesi Group said “Gyrus has profound industry expertise, international network and synergistic portfolio companies that will help accelerate our plan of building a state-of-the-art Digital Platform within the Healthcare industry. We look forward to partnering with them and driving Consulcesi’s expansion internationally.”

Guy Semmens and Mirco Dilda, Partners at Gyrus Capital added “Providing HCPs with access to continuing education and Healthcare Companies access to efficient engagement and communication capabilities is fundamental to the functioning and development of the Healthcare system.
