Funds advised by Gyrus Capital acquire 40% of Consulcesi.  Signed in Geneva, the closing, begins a new era for the group founded by Massimo Tortorella.  Already a leader in Italy in digital services dedicated to healthcare and pharma, Consulcesi is now ready to create an international healthcare platform having recently expanded and enhanced its corporate structure.  This has strengthened its position in the provision of digital services in education, legal and insurance, communication, and business services.

Gyrus Capital is an investment firm specialising in sustainability and digital transformation with particular attention to the Healthcare sector.  Its experience in M&A operations will help to consolidate, on the one hand, the market leadership of Consulcesi in Italy, on the other hand, to start a process of internationalisation, especially in Europe, that will lead Consulcesi to become a global brand.

«The intent of this acquisition - says Massimo Tortorella, founder and CEO of the Consulcesi Group - will be to support the growth of the Group in order to double its turnover by 2025 to over 120 million euros, maintaining the historical profitability of over 30%».

Such objective, shared with Guy Semmens and Mirco Dilda, partners of Gyrus Capital, will be achieved through a series of M&A operations to "strengthen the continuous education proposals for health professionals and companies, together with a well-established communication and information network, which can significantly contribute to the efficiency of the national health service with direct benefits to patients".

The new Board of Directors confirms Massimo Tortorella, founder of the Consulcesi group and major shareholder, as President, Guy Semmens co-founder of Gyrus Capital as Vice-president and Andrea Tortorella as CEO.

Consulcesi is a legal network specialising in healthcare law and holds the widest and most advanced digital platform in Italy with over 250 distant learning courses for doctors and healthcare professionals. It is also market leader in digital marketing, market research and specific services for the health and pharmaceutical sector. Headquartered in Balerna (Switzerland) and with offices in Brussels, London, Rome and Tirana, the Consulcesi Group employs over 800 people. Provides healthcare companies with data analytics solutions through a proprietary database of more than 2 million contacts from healthcare professionals, multi-channel marketing services and e-learning solutions.
